It really was a shocker right at first. He had to take early retirement. We of course planned our retirement around full retirement package. O well no one promised us a rose garden. But it has been grand!! We have a chance to share more time together, and get some things done we were putting off because we didn't have time.
I haven't taken the time lately to blog but I think we have the time thing down enough that I can once again find time. I miss it and visiting all you sweet ladies.
Until next time, Carol
My Husband has been with the same company now for 34 years & he hopes to retire in about 4 to 6 years. Yes, it is all pretty scarry. I feel like I am in a relay race & now I have the baton & I hope it doesn't get fumbled out of our hands.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your retirement.....

Oh Carol, I think it would be scary, not quite knowing what to expect. Just the thought of being at the age to retire is a bit intimidating. You are right tho, it's a whole new chapter of being together, doing what you want, when you want and enjoying the fruits of your labor, Char
