I made this sweet lace tea pot. I added lace and then lots of lace appliques.
I haven't been very good at blogging for the last couple of years. But I love to blog. So I thought I would try adding a few projects all along as I make them for you to see. Because we all know we love to show the pieces we make. And this is a great place for that.
I have this piece on my roll top desk along with vintage English tea cups. It was a fun project to make and I have 3 more on my work table right now that I am getting ready to do. It is a slow process but maybe the more I do the quicker they will be.
Thanks for dropping by and please leave me a note and let me know what you think. Thanks.
Until next time. Carol

ReplyDeleteWow, Carol, that is one beautiful teapot! Is there a real teapot in there, or is it just a stuffed version covered in lace? I miss talking to you, but will be sending an order soon. Hugs, Cathy
ReplyDeleteMy mother collected pretty little antique dishes. My sister and I split them up when Momma passed over 10 years ago. I've never been able to display them as I had my rambunctious grandchildren living with me. Now, though, I am going to dig them out and show them off! There are china tea cups, Depression ware, Carnival ware, crystal, some milky ceramics with tiny flowers (Fenton, maybe?), etc! LOL Your tea pot reminded me of Momma!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
