Tea Time Tuesdays

Today is Tea Time Tuesday. I went to a flea market Sunday that is about 50 miles from my house. I found serveral things . I will share more later.

I got a set of 4 of these.

I love the soft colors and the sweet pattern.

Sorry about that.

They are Noritake. I think they are so pretty. One will be for me and I will be putting the other ones in My Vintsge Shop soon.

My Fabric Collage For Lizzie

I would like to share with you the fabric collage I sent my partner Lizzie.

I wanted to make sure she got it before I showed it. I wanted to make sure she was the first to see it.

I printed and sewed the pretty lady as well as the word pretty. The 2 white lace appliques framing her I also made. I added pink ribbon roses and a pretty pink bling piece to the top and 2 glass pink pearls to the bottom. The pink lace flower I also made.

I added white rose Viennese lace to each side.

Then I added to the top and bottom a piece of white trim with pink roses.

To the very bottom I added a vintage lace crochet doily.

I enjoyed making this for Lizzie. I have partnered with her 3 times now. I love everything she has sent me and it is all around my sewing room. If you missed it scroll down a few post and you will see the lovely one she sent me.

Fabric Collage Swap

I received my swap package from my partner Lizzie yesterday and would like to share it with you.

How cool is it that she thought to sign it. I didn't. I should of as this is the 3rd swap we were partners in. I hope the next time I remember to follow her lead and sign mine.

Notice all the pretty details she adds.

She always adds a pretty flower she makes.

I love the butterflies!

We were told to leave it so our partner could decide how to display it. Weather to hang it or just leave it on the table top or however. She sent along a pretty gold hanger she made so I could hang it. You can tell from the first picture I did. I will in the next couple of days sew it to the hanger and hang it in my sewing room with all the other pretties I have of hers. She also added a lot of extra pretties but I didn't get a picture of them. She is so thoughtful.

Happy Valentines Day

Wishing everyone a Loved filled Valentines Day

I want to thank everyone who prayed for my friend Nancy. She went to be with the Lord this morning at 4 o'clock.

She is a beautiful lady all of you would have loved. I have never heard anyone say anything but kind things about her. She is a wife, a Mother of 3 grown sons, Mother in law of 3 daughters that she loved and admired so much. And the Nana of 2 sweet kids, a 5 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. And a dear friend to to many to count.

She gave her life to Christ and showed everyone just how much she loved Him. (even without words)

There is no more tears or pain in her life. Only Love.

Please if you would pray for her family. Carol
